Matthew Saliba returns to MOTION PICTURES with "Amy's in the Attic"

After solidifying his reputation as an award-winning filmmaker specializing in sado-erotic horror with his trilogy of "She Was Asking For It," "Vampyros Lesbos" and "Dark Lotus," Montreal filmmaker, Matthew Saliba is putting the "stop-motion photography" technique that has come to define his work as of late on hold and is returning to the "motion picture" roots of his earlier films "The Manipulator and the Subservient" and "Pandora's Paradox."

Saliba, a longtime fan of Italian horror films has written and directed, "Amy's in the Attic," a loving homage to the films he admires so dearly complete with plenty of zooms, a psychedelic soundtrack and gratuitious close-ups of J&B scotch bottles! "Amy's in the Attic" stars Kayden Rose (of "Vampyros Lesbos" and "Dark Lotus" fame), Lisa Di Capa, Matt Lacas, Chastity Castro, Sebastien Fournier and director Saliba himself. The film tells the story of a group of friends, Amy (Kayden Rose), Barbara (Lisa Di Capa), Shawn (Matt Lacas), Suzy (Chastity Castro) and Mitch (Sebastien Fournier) who gather at their ringleader Alucard's (Matthew Saliba) place one evening for an old fashioned swinger's party. Unfortunately, the party isn't living up to expectations, so Alucard suggests that they play a game. Everyone must write their name down on a piece of paper and place it in his hat. Whomever's name is selected from the hat must be the others' slave for the evening. Needless to say, Amy's name is selected. What starts off as an innocent game of testing one's limits ends in a horrific tragedy involving rape, violence and female degradation.
