À cause d'un dernier pari stupide, sept jeunes adultes partent en forêt pour tuer un ours qui a déjà fait plusieurs victimes. Surprise, ce n'est pas un ours qui protège son territoire, mais un vétéran du Vietnam, bien équipé, masqué et avec un gant à la Freddy qu'il fait passer pour des griffes d'ours. Ou quand DÉLIVRANCE rencontre RAMBO.

Curieux mélange de genres, on se demande tout le long pourquoi le vétéran se promène masqué, on se doute bien qu'il est pas joli, mais bon... Naturellement nos sept adultes qui n'ont jamais vu un film vont toujours sauter sur l'occasion de se séparer pour rendre la chasse au citadin plus facile. L'ensemble de la mise en scène est correct et sans grande surprise mais j'ai bien apprécié la scène de la goupille de grenade, on vous en dit pas plus, mais c'est efficace comme idée. Bien gore, mais pas de nudité au menu. Faut dire que les femmes meurent plus rapidement que les hommes, plus armés. Avec Pedro Fernandez dans le rôle de Nacho. Je sait pas pour vous, mais moi j'ai souvent pensé à NACHO, NACHO, MAN, I WANNA BE A NACHO MAN, air connu.

Une autre trouvaille dans le coffret HORROR FROM SOUTH OF THE BORDER vol 1, une aubaine psychotronique.

wow, mais c'est super intéressant ce coffret là, déjà ce film a l'air croustillant,.... quels sont les autres titres?

Chaudement recommandé, J'en ai donc regardé la moitié cette semaine et le reste va suivre rapidement...

Niveau qualité, c'est correct?
Les films sont-ils au format?
Ils sont en espagnol sous-titré ou doublés en anglais?
Est-ce que tu aimes manger des fruits de mer en été sur la banquise?

Ne parle pas de banquise à un Québécois ces jours-ci, on a battu le record de neige tombée, y a des banquises partout !

De ceux que j'ai vu, tous en version originale sous-titres anglais, je ne connait pas le format original, la qualité varie, mais ils sont tous sur un film par dvd, donc pas de compression affreuse, rien ne semble restauré, mais BCI n'a pas l'habitude de le faire, on est juste content de pouvoir voir les films et c'est à prix modique. Un deuxième coffret sort, mais j'ai déjà tous les films de la défunte compagnie Beverly Wilshire qui les sortait mais en version anglaise uniquement.

Si l'image est l'égale d'une VHS, je m'en fous.
En revanche, si elle est recadrée, c'est triste....
Il n'empêche que l'initiative est excellente.
